We Are LIVE!!!

Hi Queen-Friend! Welcome back to Love, Latina. By the time you are reading this, we are officially LIVE and have launched this space! I am so excited for you to be here. Curating this space has been a labor of love and so much fun. I'm excited for you to join me on this journey.

When I think about the journey and all of the obstacles I have faced to get to this point I am happy and inspired. Yes, I am inspired by myself. LOL! Hey, sometimes you have to be your own biggest fan. OK, back to the journey. So, in all honesty, when I think about the journey I have been on with the goal in mind to curate this space, the first word that comes to mind is fear.

Fear is often described as false evidence appearing real. It is something that will cause you to stop right before you get to the finish line. Fear is the element that deters many from reaching their highest potential. If I am being honest, I have allowed fear to interrupt spaces in the narrative of my life for too long. As it relates to this space, I have always had the concept to curate a unique space for women to share their life stories. I just did not know how to do it or where to start. Insert fear. For me, it was the fear of not knowing how to start, the uncertainty of it all as it relates to how well my ideas and creativity would be received, the list goes on and on.

The point is, I allowed fear to interrupt me and in the process it has prevented others from being blessed because I believe that other people's blessings are tied to us finally being courageous, looking fear in the face and sharing our gifts and talents with the world.

My biggest lesson through all of this has been, just start anyway. It does not have to be perfect. It doesn't have to contain all of the final elements. There will be challenges along the way. You will STILL be afraid some days. Just start anyway. Do that thing you have always wanted to do. Whatever that "thing" is for you. You owe it to yourself to try.

Along this journey I have learned many things about myself. One important thing is that I am worth the try. I am worth the start. I owe it to myself and so do you.

So, face the fear, embrace courage and just start anyway. See you around the site!
