Hey Queen Friend! Did you miss me? I'm FINALLY coming up for air. You may have been wondering where I have been, at least I hope so, LOL. I've been in full back to school mode! By now most of us or our kids have started back at school for the new year and can I be honest? It has been exhausting! So, I needed to take some time to take an evaluation of my priorities to make sure we get off to a great start.
So, as promised, I wanted to share the learning space I created for my son. I wanted the space to be fun, exciting and Minecraft themed, his latest obsession! I will share a few pictures as well as a DIY project I completed. I re-purposed a canvas print I no longer needed and turned it into a pretty cool, if I must say so myself, Minecraft reading corner sign. Comment below and let me know what you think!
I won't hold you long because I know you're busy trying to catch your breath and enjoy the time you have until it's time to start back at work and helping your kids with virtual school. I want to simply encourage you to come up for air. You're probably wondering what I mean by that, right? Well, simply put I mean, make sure you take time for yourself and do one thing that replenishes YOU! As moms, we spend so much time wracking our brains and fussing over the details of life for our kids. If I'm being honest, it can be overwhelming at times. At other times we feel that mom guilt raring its ugly head, tricking us into believing we aren't doing enough or like what we are doing isn't perfect. Come up for air, Queen Friend! Take some time for yourself and be unapologetic about it.
